A two part question once again this month:
1. Are you planning on gifting wax to anyone this Christmas?
Only to a few people I've met through the blog or in the wax community.
2. Have you asked for any waxy gifts for Christmas?
Not this year, although I was tempted to 'cash in' an early present when
Rosegirls had their gift certificates on sale recently. $80 for a $100 gift
certificate was mighty hard to pass up. The expiration on them
scared me so I sat on my hands and resisted.
Please let us know your answers in the comments! The ladies here at the Order are wishing you and your family the merriest of holiday seasons this year filled with love, joy and peace, and of course, lovely smells.
It's Always Something: Looking for some votives to scent your home and add firelight ambience for the holidays this year? Deb recently hauled some amazing scents from a well known company, and by the end of the post you will be enabled. Consider yourself warned.
Fragrance Obsessed: There is one rule about Pie Club. No zucchini scents. No, that's not it. We don't talk about Pie Club? No. Oh! I remember. You don't EAT the pies... right. Curious about Sunnee's latest Pie Club experience? I know I am.
LoloLovesScents: Social media may have its drawbacks: pestering in-laws, VagueBooking, and unsightly tagged photos from 90's big hair days via #TBT, but there are perks too. Lauren's quick draw McGraw fingers enabled her to snag a most excellent sampler. This one is multi-vendor! So, what all did she get?
The Redolent Mermaid: Santa stops in Florida too, but getting in the holiday spirit can be difficult with swaying palm trees and 80 degrees of sunshine, but Julie has a trick up her sleeve. Come over and see what scent and vendor she is gaga over when it comes to the perfect Christmas scent.

Happy wax gifting! I am sure they will love it!
ReplyDeleteI was slightly interested in the RG gift certificates too but I couldn't imagine trying to type in a code while doing that crazy check out rush. Plus I agree, the expiration is iffy. In FL, gift certificates cannot expire. I feel like that should be the case for RG (and anywhere too) as they have the money. You should be able to use it at any time.
Happy holiday season!
You sat out the Rosegirls gift cards, too? The expiration is what killed it, for sure. It's silly to make them that way, especially, like Julie said, since they don't expire here, either. Oh well, next time! :)
ReplyDelete@Julie - Expiring gift certificates always make me nervous. Lucking, like Lolo said, In CA they don't expire either. I remember having some in other states that did and it would either send me in a panic to hurry up and use them or completely sadden me when I realized they were no longer useable.
ReplyDeleteWith RG, if I was confident I wouldn't miss the opening I would jump for that deal but I always feel very lucky and fortunate when I do get to place an order. Just don't want to get too cocky about my ordering skillz :P
@Lolo - I did, I did. Silly expiration dates --got me all scared and stuff :)
